We’ll do a random drawing of all who enter and will contact the winner by e-mail. The tickets will be held for you at will-call. Good luck! We talked with the part-time Atlantan, who lives here when “Diva” is filming in Peachtree City, by phone the other day. Q: Does Atlanta feel like home? A: The cast of “Drop Dead Diva” and I are close. We’re big foodies. We’re at Holeman & Finch at 10 o’clock, waiting for those hamburgers. I’ve made a lot of friends at the Vortex, Laughing Skull. The show that I work on there is this wonderful opportunity to settle in a new town. Being in the South, people are willing to put their differences aside to be sweet to each other. No matter how you feel about politics, people are unfailingly kind. Q: What’s the funniest thing that has happened to you in Atlanta? A: It involves the Clermont Lounge at 1 in the morning. Q: What happens on this season of “Diva?” Are you going to dance again? A: Maybe! We don’t know exactly what’s going to happen. Q: You did great on “Dancing With the Stars.” Do you miss wearing your sparkly costumes? A: I really enjoyed the glitz and the glamour of it all. It was really physical. But no, I don’t even like wearing make up all that much. Q: You seem so nice. Does it surprise people when they meet you that you’re so mild-mannered? A: Ha! People always think I’m like Sam Kinison all the time. Q: How’s your plan to pose for Playboy going? A: I’m still holding out! - Jennifer Brett/The Buzz/jbrett@ajc.com |
