Margaret Cho is triumphantly returning to television in a new half-hour VH1 reality sitcom "The Cho Show." And this time, it's on her own terms.

Premiering Thursday, August 21 at 10 PM ET/PT, "The Cho Show," will follow the irrepressible Margaret Cho and her eccentric entourage as she fights to be herself in an industry that in the past wanted her to be something different. "The Cho Show" blends Margaret's real life with some imaginative and comical situations that touch upon all aspects of Margaret's "anything goes" lifestyle. From the complicated and awkward moments with her somewhat traditional Korean parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cho, to the more irreverent and outrageous experiences shared with her colorful cast of friends and colleagues, "The Cho Show" invites viewers into Margaret's unique reality.

The Cho family is joined by her no-nonsense assistant Selene Luna and her "Glam Squad" John Stapleton (make-up,) John Blaine (hair stylist,) and Charlie Altuna (wardrobe) who help her keep it together from head to toe.
