On Saturday, September
17, 2011, as part of his Everything, Everytime, Everywhere Tour, Trevor
Hall played an all encompassing live show at The Roxy in Los Angeles,
California.
The barefooted boy from South Carolina performed crowd favorites "Volume,"
"Unity," and the highly infectious most recent single, "Brand
New Day."
Having previously toured with a lengthy line-up of artists such as
Jimmy Cliff, Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Matisyahu, Stevie Nicks, Ben
Harper, Colbie Caillat, Los Lobos, Ziggy Marley, and Rusted Root,
it was evident that Trevor Hall had more than earned his headliner
status amongst some of the best names in the business.
Keeping the vibe on a mellow tip, the show was a warm and friendly
affair from a man who had grown up surrounded by music and an atmosphere
of creativity. With an almost transcendental approach to the tunes,
the artist's interest in meditation and spirituality were evident,
and music arrived as an element of something higher in power and influence.
For those who refuse to let summer die, for fans of keeping it simple,
or for those with a wander-lust that can be nourished by musical tales
and perspectives from a specific kind of heart, Trevor Hall is the
musician of choice.
