TO HANSON |
Hanson's
"The Walk" 3.5 Flames I told myself I wouldn't make a single "Mmm Bop" reference
in this review but honestly, what else is there to think when you say
Hanson? The one-time cute-faced, long-haired boy band is now grown up
and showing a lot of maturity with their latest album "The Walk."
Unlike their previous albums, "The Walk" has a deep, near
gospel sound that has its roots deep in American rock. The title track
"The Great Divide" was produced while Hanson stayed in Africa
and includes vocals sung by a local orphanage. The album on a whole
sounds nothing like the Hanson we all recall, but it is definitely a
change for the better. If you are ever in the mood for a good cry or
a strong motivational song, you should definitely pick up this album.
