of the Bay Area Article Last Updated:11/03/2006 08:08:04 AM PST Jett Setting Ever since she released the fist-pumping anthem "I Love Rock'n' Roll" in 1982, Joan Jett has not only been an icon in the rock world, but also the punk, pop, metalhead, liberal and conservative communities. In support of her latest album, "Sinner," and with her trusty Blackhearts alongside her, Joan Jett is set to rock the roof off of the Fillmore at 9 p.m. Saturday. Clad in black leather, charcoal-lined eyes and armed with a grimy, yet sexy voice, Jett has grown in fame as a pioneer of music (remember her teenage band The (Runaways?) and has become a genuine star without losing any of the rough edges that made the public fall in love with her. Recently, she has tested the waters on stage, screen and on the radio as the host of "Joan Jett's Radio Revolution" on Sirius Satellite Radio's Underground Garage hosted by Little Steven. Jett and her Blackhearts will be joined by the Eagles of Death Metal. The Fillmore is at 1805 Geary Blvd., San Francisco. Tickets are $30. Call (415) 421-TIXS or visit http://www.ticketmaster.com.
