Pop-Rock Candy Mountain recently spoke with Sullivan about the Beautiful Tour and his future plans.

Pop-Rock Candy Mountain (PRCM) The song “Shoes” is disturbingly gratifying in that it makes you laugh, but also, it kinda makes you want to boogie. Who wrote/performed the music for the song?

Liam Sullivan (LS) That would be me. Er, Kelly. Who is me. It’s kind of confusing.

PRCM: You are currently touring with Margaret Cho- is this your first big comedy tour?

LS: Yes, and it’s an extremely funny show, something I’m very proud to be a part of.

PRCM: What has the experience been like so far?

LS: Overwhelmingly gratifying. Performing for raucous crowds who are out for a good hard belly shakin’ laugh is what keeps me going.

PRCM: YouTube/ the internet in general have really changed the way artists and their audiences interact. What impact do you see the internet having on the entertainment industry?

LS: The internet offers distribution, something artists had to get through a studio or network before. Now, any artist can get their content out to the masses. It benefits everyone.
