LIT LINE UP JAY LENO, CRAIG KILBORN, CARSON DALY AND ESPN PERFORMANCES FOR LAUNCH OF NEW SINGLE “LOOKS LIKE THEY WERE RIGHT” FIRST 100,000 COPIES OF NEW ALBUM TO FEATURE LIMITED EDITION DVD NEW TOUR DATES WITH HOOBASTANK AND OTHERS REVEALED
Los Angeles, CA - June, 2004 - Orange County rockers Lit have been invited to perform their new single, “Looks Like They Were Right” on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Thursday, June 17. This will be the fourth time Lit has performed on the show and will mark the national tv debut of the new single. In addition, the band will perform on the Late, Late show with Craig Kilborn on Monday, June 21 and make a return visit to Last Call with Carson Daly Wednesday, July 14. Lit will also perform on ESPN’s “Cold Pizza” in July and be profiled on CNN. in July. “Looks Like They Were Right” is on over 50 rock stations across the country including such major stations as WHFS in Washington DC, KNRK in Portland and KTCL in Denver among many others. The video for “Looks Like They Were Right” was directed by Nathan Cox (Linkin Park, Static X, Chevelle) and features the band in a hard-rocking performance with a tribute to rock-and-roll history. The video can currently be seen on Fuse’s “Oven Fresh” and MTVU shows. “Looks Like They Were Right” is the first single off the bands self-titled album which will be released on June 22. The first 100,000 units of Lit will include a free, limited edition DVD that features never-before-seen live footage and other exclusive material of the band.
